Amazing House! Everything We Wanted.
This place is amazing! The view is so gorgeous! It was clean and well-stocked upon checkout. We had enough towels for our needs. It's large but cozy, well-built so sound doesn't travel much from floor to floor. It is so quiet at night, except for the forest bugs and frogs. We saw SO MUCH wildlife from the decks. We enjoyed the firepit and stargazing from the jacuzzi. The reading loft on the top floor has the very best view and cozy furniture - someone in our family was always there! Our kids appreciated the games in the basement. It's a great location - safe and away from the fray, but not too remote. Everything we wanted in a cabin! A local bear was pretty active in the evenings. It broke the lid off the septic tank and was helping itself. Hosts texted back right away and said a new part is ordered and would arrive after we left. The smell, open hole near the fire pit, and my husband having to keep covering it back up was not a great experience and we would've appreciated a temporary solution of some sort. However, the septic tank was the only bad thing of a near-perfect home experience. The easy access to the septic tank brought the bear to our cabin more, so it sniffed the trash (locked away in the bear locker) and tried to get into our cars (but that's Smokies life). We would definitely come back. I'm so glad we booked this place. We made great memories! Homeowners, thanks for sharing such an amazing place.
