The Scenic Wolf cabin community is located at 21 Scenic Wolf Drive, Mars Hill, NC 28754, and is approximately 27 miles from the heart of downtown Asheville, 4,301ft above sea level. Important Property Notes - Due to a steep, winding paved road leading to the Scenic Wolf cabins, use of a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during the winter months. - Each cabin at Scenic Wolf is large and multi-leveled with upper and lower decks located over steep drop-offs (providing the wonderful views!). If stairs or a fear of heights are a concern for anyone in your party, please ask a Vacation Coordinator about your cabin's specific layout to ensure the comfort of all guests! - Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day. - Travel Insurance is Highly Recommended. During the winter months, we highly recommend you consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home. No refunds shall be provided if you cannot access the home due to winter weather. - Ski Resort Changes. Please note, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort has been sold, and rebranded to Hatley's Point by new ownership. This ski mountain offers limited ski passes per day, and advanced purchase is recommended. This property is located on the same mountain as the slopes of Hatley Point Ski Resort, although during winter it's a 4 mile drive down and around the mountain to reach the lodge.
