This was a very nice cabin. The only complaint I had was the location. I did realize that it was farther out, but I did not realize it was so far up the mountain. It's a very winding trek, that actually made me nauseous, until my husband took the drive a little slower every time. But it was a very good vacation, and even seen 2 bears on our first morning in the grass clearing nearby, and one ventured up on our deck railing one night and left footprints.

Just came back from Elks Springs resort and stayed at Hawks Vue for my daughter's 40th birthday (lives in tn.) Had the family in. Everyone was amazed, loved the cabin, clean,and beautiful scenery.alot updated and had to learn lol how to use fridge temp and dishwasher but all in all great and any questions or help was a immediate response!the only reason I put 4for safety was the road not use to the windy roads

The cabin was gorgeous. Very clean and well appointed. Rooms were comfortable and well furnished. View is beyond words.

We loved the pool table and arcade machine. The hot tub was used often. We had seven people and were all very comfortable. The cabin was well insulated as we were not disturbed by each others activities in different parts of the cabin. The kitchen had plenty of dishes. We have no negative review but would suggest having a kitchen scrubber (there was only the wash cloths), perhaps a larger cooking pot (as we were cooking for a large group). We loved the deck and the chairs. It would have been nice if there was a side table on the decks. By the way, there were some "wood bees/carpenter bees" that were burrowing into the wood above the main floor back door. They did not bother us be we saw the sawdust on the deck and saw them entering the holes. We absolutely loved the cabin and did not want to leave. If we have an opportunity to come to the area again, we would definitely seek out this cabin.

We had a great time and the cabin was amazing. cabin was so clean and well kept. Definitely 10 out of 10

This was the perfect cabin. It had everything that we needed. We were not disappointed.

We've rented lodges in the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area for many years, but this was our first stay in HawksVue. The lodge is breathtaking inside and out and everything about it suited our needs to perfection. We loved having so many bedrooms with king-sized beds.

Briefly stated, this lodge was everything it was advertised to be, and we couldn't have asked for more.

NOTE: During our stay, we left food cooking in the oven a bit too long, something boiled over, we smoked up the lodge, and the stove stopped working. We called maintenance, and they sent someone within an hour. He fixed the oven quickly and all was well.
NOTE: This property is under the management of Elk Springs Resort, and they always do an outstanding job!
