Cons: It is located on steep hills. You will need AWD to get up the hills or you will be stuck at the bottom of the hill so make sure to rent or drive the proper vehicle. We found ourselves stuck beside another car who had someone to drive them up to their cabin . We were not so lucky with our late arrival so we hiked up the hills in which a drive that would have took a min, took us an hr on foot with what we could carry.
That’s our fault so I’ll still give the cabin 5 stars.
The open windows have a lot of light which is good and shows the view of the city but I’m paranoid so it would have been nice to close the large open areas with shades .

Pros:
- The cabin is literally minutes away from the Gatlinburg strip.
- A theater/game room. Nice black leather theater seats. Big screen to watch movies.The nostalgia games of pac man. An Air hockey game table would make this even better. But it was a nice room.
- The indoor pool, my sister tried it and was unable to heat it up but maybe that was user error. She still enjoyed relaxing in the pool.
- The fireplaces. The one in living room and upstairs one in the bedroom was very relaxing
- The convenience of 3 bathrooms. One in the pool area and one in each bedroom.
- Having available utensils in the kitchen, with dish soap to clean the dishes and laundry packets for the washers to wash your clothes. Also available mini shampoo/conditioner and Bodywash in the bathrooms.
- Upstairs the his and her bathroom has his and her shower heads in a large shower. Showering back and forth under both was wonderful.
- The mountain views on the bottom floor with rocking chairs and the top floor were nice.
- The book shelf with books and comfortable chair to read a book upstairs in the corner of the room was a nice touch.
- After finding a last minute rental we were able to enjoy the Ripley’s aquarium which was close.
- Customer service was polite

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Kids loved the pool. Beds were comfortable and plenty of instruction on the website

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean and the views were amazing. Everything you need is available. Not far from the main drag. Took the trolley into town so no need to look for parking. The parking was a little tough if you’re driving a truck but managed to make the best of it. The roads to the cabin are a bit scary so we avoided going out at night. The pool, the hot tub the game room were perfect for unwinding at night. Would absolutely stay here again.

aside from a few hiccups (on my part) with just getting used to the app at the beginning, our stay was perfect. Bear Tracts were quick to answer chats and text messages. Love the huge master bath! The views are amazing! Perfect sunrise from the top balcony. Kids loved the pool.

From the moment we stepped in the door we knew we had picked the right place to spend the week. The cabin was more than we expected. The pool was a perfect amenity that kept our 10 and 15 yr old entertained. The location of the cabin was great as well. The view of Gatlinburg at night from the 3rd floor is insane!! We’re going to plan another trip and rent again.

This is our second time staying at Rainwater Falls since we had such an outstanding experience the first time. We love everything about this cabin from the pool, hot tub, AMAZING views and cozy feel. Not to mention, it truly has everything you need. We were lucky enough to see bears each time, too! Tim, the maintenance guy, was super helpful and on top of things. We highly recommend staying here!
