Family friendly or romantic getaway

This is a beautiful cabin, perfect for families or a romantic getaway. We stayed here for a week with our one year old, and my brother and his girlfriend, and everyone was very comfortable. It was very easy to baby proof, we brought a gate for the stairs and some small bungees for cabinets. (No bathtub but decent size showers and we brought a baby tub). The porch with hot tub and gas fireplace was fully enclosed and safe for baby to crawl around. PLocation is 5min from downtown and 20min from smokey mountains Nation park. Beautiful views, a little challenging to find at first due to winding steep roads, but there is a clear path once you find it. Full kitchen and laundry. Our last day we saw 2 bears walk through our yard! Back to nature indeed! Enjoyed our stay very much!

Beautiful views means steep drive

The cabin was beautiful and clean! Love the fireplaces and all furniture was comfortable. The hot tub was nice, however, the guy came to clean it after we were already in it hours after check-in. We wish we could’ve been forewarned about the steep driveway and impassable steep drive up. Possibly would’ve made a better choice for a rental car as we went during the winter. We did not feel comfortable and confident with the drive so we stayed in at night. Local delivery was delicious, but local grub hub had a hard time with the steep roads and finding the cabin. Loved that the cabin was pet friendly because my pups enjoyed the fenced in porch and gazing over the incredible Mountain View.

BEAR-y Good Stay

We only live 2 hours away from Gatlinburg, so we know all the best places to stay when visiting, but we’d not stumbled upon this location before... glad we did! This was a lovely, clean cabin with ample room for a family of 4-6 and a pet to stay. The view was nice on the big back deck if you’re ok with a mountainside of other homes to look at — I did miss the silence we’re used to when staying in a cabin, but it was still a secluded lot with plenty of nature surrounding us. Two nights before our departure we were visited by a juvenile black bear who dug in the ground and lazed in the yard for a bit. It was a wonderful sight to behold! It didn’t mind us and we didn’t mind him/her — we kept our distance on the deck and took a lot of video and pictures to remember the experience. Be prepared with a current road map of the cabin site, because Google Maps got totally bumfuddled with all the new roads being laid and had no clear way to direct us; this caused some moments of frustration, but we eventually figured it out an all was good from there. We’ll be back!
