Pretty good stay
Overall, we had a very nice stay. The cabin (more like a house) was not as secluded as the cabins we usually stay in. Kind of reminded me of the newer style of homes/subdivisions of houses people are selling now days. We were quite close to other cabins. Because of that parking was not all that great. It was not explained prior to our arrival how to park and we received a complaint from our neighbor stating we parked in their parking. Edencrest REP contacted me explaining we only had parking for two cars in the driveway, although the cabin sleeps like 14??). We had 4 cars so 2 had to park on the streets which was a bit unsettling as the streets were very narrow and were afraid of an accident. What was really puzzling is that the neighbor that complained was parking 4 cars (in the driveway) our other neighbor seemed to have plenty of parking, we had an extra parking pad, but was told it was for emergency vehicles and that we couldn't park there. Nonetheless, we made it work, but we got off to a bit of a rocky start. The only others issues we encountered were there were ants in different parts of the house (lower bedroom/bathroom, main level bedroom/bath and half bath) could have been due to construction (there is LOTS of construction still going on of new cabins), but not entirely sure. We could never get the pool to warm-up, but didn't press the issues or contact Edencrest about it the kids enjoyed the hot tub. As I stated, overall a good stay. Despite the negative encounters, we made the best of our trip and had a very good time. The cabin was very spacious and beautiful. It was clean and felt like home for the most part. Although, we will not stay in this cabin (or Laurel estates) again we will continue to stay with Edencrest for all the GREAT experiences we have had.
