time stands still

A must stay! Perfectly placed to give you both an off grid vibe, but close enough to experience all the Smokies can offer. Management was communicative and cabin features are everything you need to relax and enjoy the tranquility on the mountain. 10/10 will return.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Time Stands Still. When we got there, our door code didn't work. I contacted Elk Springs and somebody was out there within 20-30 mins and are very responsive on the phone whether it's texting them directly or calling them on the phone. The only complaint we had was the wifi not being very fast at all, but on a trip to the mountains, wifi was the last of our worries, especially with all the amenities provided at this cabin. The amazing view can be seen from both decks, the hot tub, the gas grill, all bedrooms, and the pool table. The bathrooms are very spacious and the Queen bunk beds were perfect too. Pigeon Forge is about 20 mins away and Gatlinburg is about 20-25. The mountain roads to get there also are not as bad as some I've been on, with there only being maybe 4 tight blind spots around switchbacks maximum. There is only one cabin close to it, but it is extremely close on the corner, but it still feels extremely private.

Totally beautiful place to stay and everything you need to cook at the cabin and be like home. Such a gorgeous view away from the city but easy in and out close to everything.
We contacted host a few times and received a promt welcoming answers.

Relax, beautiful, unexplainable, just know I will be back there as many times as I can come back.

We were very happy with our stay. A few minor things that go along with years of having people in a nd out of the property but nothing at all that prohibited us from a good time!!
