This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway. No shows will forfeit any monies put down. After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.

This property allows a maximum of two dogs and a maximum weight per dog of 40 pounds. Even thought the unit is pet-friendly, no pets may occupy the cabin unless you have registered your dog in a pet approved cabin. If a pet is in an unapproved cabin, a fine of $200.00 will be assessed and you will be required to vacate the cabin immediately without a refund.
This property charges a non-refundable pet-fee of $75.00 plus tax per pet that will be collected after booking. The pet fee does not include any additional clean up services. You are required to clean up after dog inside/outside of the cabin. Please crate your dog when you are not at the property.

Secluded Relaxation Close to Town
Excellent location!! Close to town, yet in a quiet, peaceful area right off the strip. The best of both worlds. Right outside of Gatlinburg and a very short drive to Pigeon Forge. Clean cabin with everything I needed... and more... in the kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Right on the creek, with a great view. (However, the cabin is at the top of an embankment,so you aren't able to wade in the creek.) We love sitting on the screened in porch every night playing games and listening to the creek. We will definitely be returning to Bear Cabin!!!!
Lovely cabin
Much needed getaway. We hiked and then went back to this beautiful cabin for the hot tub and listening to the stream in the backyard. Very relaxing and very clean cabin.
Love this cabin and location
Will be back. Thinking of booking it for Christmas. It’s a little dark in the living area, but I think that adds to the charm. We had a visitor every evening, a bald eagle. This was the first I have ever seen in the wild. Loved it.The beds are really firm and if you have a bad back this cabin is probably not for you. The water taste good not a chemical taste. We loved the hot tub, it was easy to uncover and cover.

This was our first time renting a cabin in Gatlinburg. I can only say this was an amazing experience!! From check in to check out the process was very easy and everyone I dealt with was awesome!! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed!! Will definitely be back to the Big Bear!!
Perfect weekend !
We had a great weekend . That cabin was absolutely perfect for two couples . The walk into town wasn’t bad at all, and there is a trolly stop super close if needed . I think my favorite part of the cabin was waking up early and enjoying my coffee out back watching the creek . I would rent this cabin again for sure !
