My husband and I were just looking to spend a couple of days away from home and had always wanted to stay in a cabin at Gatlinburg. This was our first time staying in a cabin and the experience was fair. The cabin was decent but could have used more cleaning. The fake plants had a lot of dust on them and there were cobwebs above the door in the bathroom. The comforter set on the bed was dirty. The cabin also had cockroaches which was a big concern because we were afraid we would bring them home in our luggage. I know that you are supposed to be "roughing" it a little when you stay in a cabin but we are a little particular when it comes to cleanliness. The staff at the office was very nice no complaints in that area. The location was not as private as I would have liked. Semi-private to me is a little more secluded than what we were. So the description of the area should read to let you know that you have other cabins right beside you.

This cabin smelled like wet dog. We had to purchase scented candles from the local grocery store just to mask the smell. For $200 a night, you would think that they could have done something about that. The cabin itself wasn't bad, but we wouldn't have had to deal with something like that in a hotel.

I would not recommend this cabin to anyone because it was filthy! The cabin was covered in mold on the ceilings. The smell was very musky and anyone could get sick from staying here. All the windows had dead bugs on them and cob webs were throughout the entire cabin. The hot tub area needed to be swept as it was covered in leaves and dirt. The furnishings were all dusty. The refrigerator did not keep the food cold. The location is ok but not for a peaceful setting because you can hear the traffic from the strip. We vacation twice a year in the smokies and always rent a cabin. This was by far the nastiest cabin I've ever experienced. I have never stayed in a cabin that wasn't cleaned until this time. We did enjoy our vacation away from the cabin. I recommend the cabin owners getting a new cleaning crew because it was filthy. I actually had to clean the cabin with Clorox wipes and spray Lysol to attempt to get the moldy smell out.

Cabin was dusty & very small. Tv was not smart tv & a very small tv. Overall just not a great cabin would not stay here again. Jacuzzi didn’t work real good . Furniture is old & had fleas needs updating. Shower had blood stains. Bad location

This cabin is cute, however, I can not give it a good review. The directions to this cabin given by the staff at Aunt Bug's needs to be corrected. It took us a bit to find this cabin based on these directions. On my day of checkout, I receive an email from a person with the Aunt Bug's staff thanking me for my positive review of my stay. I had not left any kind of review, good or bad, for this cabin or my stay. To me, this indicates bogus reviews left for this cabin rental agency. The hot tub did not function properly. Not much of an issue for us as we were not that interested in the hot tub. On our last night there, we noticed black mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. This explains why we had headaches during our time in the cabin. I notified the staff at Aunt Bug's, and was told they would make the maintenance staff aware. No question or concern were asked about our well-being. I have even told the gentleman from the bogus cabin review email about the situation, and still I have not heard anything back. One last thing, on the description about this cabin, it indicates this cabin is within walking distance of Gatlinburg. It is not a walk I would be comfortable making, especially at night. The best thing about our stay at this cabin is a black bear came to visit us at the cabin. So, be aware there are black bears around.

Said our cabin was available got there said it was not put us in a different cabin very small nothing like what I paid for. Called and was told I was "LUCKY" that we even had a cabin
