Not clean when we arrived.there were dead and half dead bugs and bees on the floor and my wife stopped counting when she reached 40. There were crushed potato chips and peanuts on the floor and crumbs on the kitchen counters. My daughter was uncomfortable letting her 8 month old toddler crawl on the floor. I am sure this was a very nice unit at onetime, but it needs a serious refresh. And, for the cost, we thought more people than starter toilet paper and soap should have been provided.

Online photos of cabin we're definitely taken when the cabin was brand new, some items (couches, bedding, linens) need updating/replacement. The cabin could also use a proper cleaning job (kitchen cabinets were sticky). Considering that the cabin sleeps 12, it definitely needs a much larger hot tub or a second one installed (a hot tub that holds 4 people is not enough). Theatre room is a room with uncomfortable chairs (not photographed on website) and vintage/mix-matched equipment. The location was pretty and convenient to town. This cabin definitely should be in pristine condition for the price of the rental, unfortunately it was not :(

Overall the cabin layout was great! Roomy enough for a large family, we had 9 adults and 4 toddlers and had plenty of room. The only thing I didn't like for the cost of the stay,there were no services provided. Had to take out your own trash, had to buy your own garbage bags. The out door space where you had to throw your trash out was not big enough for the amount of people staying at the house.For the price of a 5 star hotel I was disappointed on the service. I thought that at least the garbage should have been picked up daily. For the check procedure a lot was asked of you, putting all towels in one location taking the trash from every bathroom, running the dishwasher etc. If you have to everything yourself couldn't understand way the rental fee was so high. After a the first 3 days at least they should have someone come in and change sheets, etc. View was beautiful

The sauna didn't work at all and the dishwasher didn't work when we left. Could use a little updating considering the cost per night and comparing it with other cabins in the gatlinburg area that we have stayed in. Liked the resort and the area.

The reason I gave a 3 for property cleanliness was because on the 1st day we were there I had on white socks and the bottoms of them were brown by the time I left to go somewhere from how dirty the floors/carpet were. I gave a 3 for location because I specifically asked that the cabin did not face other cabins or roads and this cabin had both. I gave a 3 for general condition because according the website it was to have 8 rocking chairs and it only had 4 rocking chairs and 4 regular chairs and they were falling apart. The rocking chairs are a big part of our vacation because we spend a lot of time on the deck while there.

The overall location of the cabin was good.The cabin is big and beautiful. The biggest desopointment was the lack of air hockey table. The website clearly stated that this cabin had an air hockey table. We choose this cabin because it was suppose to have the table. Our son was very upset! When my husband called they just said, oh yeah it used to have a table. We would not have choose to stay in the cabin if we would have known that the table was gone!!The pool table had a huge stain of some sort in the middle of it. It looked gross!The theater room was something the kids were so excited to use! The reclining chairs did not fully recline.The projector overheated because the filter was full? So we had to wait for someone to come out to fix it,which they did finally end up coming out.The property was very dusty,the master bathroom had a dirty toliet,an almost empty roll of toliet paper with no spare roll, and chewed up gum laying on floor when we arrived.The basement bathroom had an exposed tack strip that my husband stepped on. None of the tvs in the unit had remotes to go with them. They were randomly placed all over the house.When he called they did come out and fix it.The cabin is showing wear and is in need of some interior decorating. The master bedroom has a leather comforter. We really wondered if it had ever been washed.
