serenity lodge

This trip was a mom/daughter long weekend retreat. We had issues with parking at our first cabin. A quick call to Elk Springs Resort, explaining our issues to Dana, she quickly found other options to move our stay and ended up at the beautiful Serenity Lodge. Words cannot express how amazing this cabin was. So much room to spread out, fully stocked full kitchen, hot tub, game room, theater room. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated and kept extremely clean. I understand the reasoning for the gas fireplace not being available in the summer months, however, we were there the first weekend after cutoff and it was chilly at night. Having the fireplace on would have been a nice touch to take the chill out of the rooms.

We did have an issue with a bear, which has nothing at all to do with the cabin or resort. We were well informed by Elk Springs Resorts of the possible dangers of bears and knew not to leave any food in the car. We had come home late one night and the smell of our dinner leftovers lingered in our car. The bear thought he/she would try to enter the car and removed 3 of the 4 door handles from the car, leaving 3 doors inoperable and scratches all over the car. A police report and some duct tape and we were on our way. We can laugh about it now :D)

We had an amazing time at Serenity Lodge. Dana in customer service was tremendously helpful, professional and lovely to deal with. We will definitely be back to stay with Elk Springs Resorts.

one of our favorite cabins yet! it had plenty of space and games for the kids. excellent service we will be back !

We had 6 adults and 5 children. It was spacious and just the right size for us. The kids loved the Cameroon and the adults loved the hot tub. We had everything we needed. Had a maintenance issue first night and the repairman was there within 15 min and fixed the problem. Although it was late evening he wasn't mad or irritated that he was called out. If I had to do it again I would have booked through Elk Springs Resort and not through another site (VRBO or air BnB) to save more money as this rental was too high in my opinion. Since I booked through another site I was not able to get discounts for being a Healthcare worker, etc. BUT, you live and learn. Definitely would book again if we decide to visit Gatlinburg again. Many memories were made!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Serenity Lodge. The lodge was very nice, well stocked and comfortable. Location was scenic and quiet. The lodge was close to surrounding activities. We highly recommend.

Our family of 13 with a variety of ages spent a week at Serenity Lodge. It was a perfect week for hiking, local shopping, sightseeing, and being together in Serenity Lodge. The lodge is set up for many entertainment areas, along with relaxing porches with rockers.
