If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days prior to your arrival date a voucher for a future stay will be issued by host in the amount of the deposit less the reservation fee for use for a future stay within 365 days of the date of cancellation. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or less prior to arrival you will be responsible for the full reservation amount (you will forfeit the full deposit amount and the non-refundable reservation fee, and shall be responsible for the remaining rent amount and all other applicable charges associated with the reservation). Only the Guest named on the Agreement may cancel a reservation and cancellations must be made by phone call to Hosts Office. Plans can be changed before 14 days prior to the scheduled check in with no penalty. No changes are permitted within 14 days of check in.

Family Vacation Getaway
Our family came together in Gatlinburg for a short stay and had a great time at this beautiful cabin! The cabin had everything we needed, other than being short on toilet paper for 14 guests (after running out the first night we learned we needed to get our own). It was also close to many things like Food City (we made several trips), downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood! We had a great time and it was a beautiful place to meet up with family for a long weekend.

It was great! Cabin was nice and clean. We had a minor problem which was handled immediately. Overall experience thumbs up!
Perfect Vacation Cabin For Large Family!
June 2025. Our family of 7 adults and 7 children very much appreciated our stay at Diamond in the Rough. The 3 story cabin was spotless and kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfortable! We stayed four nights and bears walked by on two occasions which was thrilling to see. Game room and theater were popular. We needed to buy an undedicated Roku remote to stream in movies. Jacuzzi was clean. Close to Gatlinburg on windy roads. Near the arts community. We hope to return and pick the same cabin! Thank you!
Extended Family Vacation
Our family of 12 stayed five nights in Diamond in the Rough. We had four vehicles and it was a little tricky for parking. We made it work but we weren't positive we parked where we were suppose to.
The third floor was very warm in the late afternoon, early evening. If the cabin had blinds in the game room it would help. Maintenance did come out promptly and looked at it.
The kitchen was stocked well with pans, utensils, cups, bowls and plates. The ice maker ran out of ice one day and it took a while to refill.
The decks are spacious with rockers on each level. A corn hole game was available to use. We used the grill with no trouble.
We needed more pillow cases and they came promptly. When we asked for more toilet paper we were told we needed supply it ourselves. Which surprised me, I assumed they'd ant to control the type of toilet paper that went into their septic system. I did pack extra trash bags, paper towels, dish soap and laundry soap.
The drive to town wasn't too bad. About 15 mins. Walmart and Aldi was a 20-30 minute drive. Food City with a Starbucks was about a 10 minute drive.

Roomy Cabin In A Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay at Diamond in the Rough! From the booking process until the end of our stay, we were informed on what to expect, check in / out process and given area information which was extremely helpful. The cabin was in a great location and had plenty of space for our group. The Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and enough dishes making it easy to cook our meals. Kids loved the pool table and movie room. We would returned to this cabin in the future!
